Mary Lou's Story
I married the year following graduation. In the early 1960s, I had four children: one daughter and three boys. I was a housewife until 1970 when I started substitute teaching. In 1978 I went into banking until 1987. During those years, I went to college and earned my Associates Degree taking night classes.
I quit In 1988 due to a health problem. Choosing to stay at home I took up several hobbies to stay busy and productive. These included crocheting, crafting, painting plus designing and publishing a web site.

structions, drawing the patterns and painting a color step-by-step worksheet for painting projects when needed. I had my own website and domain, "The Crafty Artist" (craftyartist.net) where I sold my pattern packets and designs during the mid 1990s until the early 2000s. During that time I won several first place awards and various place ribbons for my art and crafts. I, also attended several painting conventions taking classes. I, also, have taken up genealogy, researching my family tree on Wikitree and online.
Whenever time permits, I pursue one of my hobbies.
