Mary's Story

Life Mary MacDonald ("Meg" Gregory) Columbia, South Carolina Brief Bio: Mary lives with an Air-Force Colonel -- a former flyboy from Iowa, and twoformerly-homeless cats, most recently in a very small, very old, daylight-filled, long-windows-all-around, sweet, comfortable, totally-restored old house surrounded by tall old trees, blue hydrangeas, pink azaleas, squirrels, small lizards, bugs, and brightly colored songbirds of all kinds, in an historic neighborhood, in a Southern Capitol City. She has been known to sing and dance in the street from time to time, and to change the color of her hair -- what she has left, to match the seasons. Travel: She has traveled extensively, sometimes for months at a time, all over the world, visiting dozens of countries, with no confining reservations, in a rented automobile, following her nose wherever she pleased, for as long as she pleased. Self-Employed: Modeling, Television and Radio Commercials, St. Louis, Missouri; Alton and Chicago, IL: Modeled for photography which appeared in most major national magazines and catalogs, on highway billboards, newspapers, point-of-purchase display advertising, brochures and other advertising materials. Acted in television and radio commercials. Made public relations appearances for client companies. Edwardsville, Alton, and Chicago, IL: Illinois Bell Telephone Co.: Operator, Supervisor and Trainer; Supervised all operators on duty and provided current training of operators. Edwardsville, Alton, Godfrey, Illinois: THE MAJOR LIFETIME ACCOMPLISHMENT of which she is most proud, and which she enjoyed more than any other: Reared a family of two children into loving, successful, responsible, independent, happy adults.
