Mary Marguerite's Story
I graduated in 1958. My sole claim to fame was that I was the spelling champion that year, and went on to the district championship, but lost out on the word plaintiff.
After graduation, I joined my family in LaGrange and attended Nazareth Academy in LaGrange Park, graduating in 1962. I went two years to Marquette, dropped out, and went to Moser Business College.
My first full time job was at Northern Trust in 1965, followed by some other banking jobs. I got married in 1970, had four children, and finally finished my col...Expand for more
lege degree at the age of 41. My degree is from Rosary College, which is now known as Dominican University. It is one of my proudest achievements.
I have worked in banking most of my adult life, and still work at a local bank in the Accounting Department.
I would love to hear from any St Philip Neri alums - St. Philip and the south side of Chicago are among my happiest memories.
