Mary's Story
I have very fond memories growing up in Detroit in its glory days. OLGH was a great place to be learn both spiritually and educationally. I treasure those days and all the memories of my classmates and teachers!

e way home. To me, it was all "Norman Rockwell-ish".
I attended the last Mass at OLGH in 2002. The area around the church was horrible, but the grounds and the church itself were beautiful.
I now reside in Grand Haven with my husband, daughter and her family. I have three grandchildren who are my joy. I also have an unmarried son who lives in Dearborn, so I still come to the Detroit area 3-4 times a year.
