Mary's Story

Life has a purpose for us even though we are not fully aware of it. We meet certain people that help us grow as a human being. We impact many lives around us. My life has been good but changed drasticly with the discovery that my daughter has autism. I am no longer that person I knew myself to be prior to the diagnosis. Life now is very hard. I feel my daughter choose us to be her parents. My strength is unending. My education background has given my girls a fighting chance. My husband is a wonderful husband and father. He is willing to do anything for us. My second daughter is our little miracle. Her love for her older sister is so inten...Expand for more
se. We are thankful for her everyday. There is also problem with my second daughter. She too has a seizures , language delay and OT& PT issues. If it wasn't for my eldest daughter I wouldn't have known the signs. I'm happy to announce our youngest daughter, Kylie, is talking and never seems to stop. I am also excited to say our GF/CF diet seems to be helping Catie. She is 4 1/2. She's still non-verbal but can use sign language. I've taught my girls sign language so we can at least try to communicate. Our sign language is very basic. We are really pushing the verbal language. Please keep my girls in your prayers.
