Mary Pat's Story
Since graduation, I have been happily living in Chicago. Never left, just didn't feel the need. Everything I want is here. Worked for a while, then went to college, and got a degree in nursing. Worked as an operating room nurse, got married, no kids. I do, however, have tons of nieces and nephews, and grown stepkids and three stepgrandkids. g, reading, and volunteering. My dad died in 2005. I lost my husband to cancer in August 2007. My mom just passed away March of 2010. It was a long and difficult 5 years of caring for them, and the adjustment has been pretty hard -- nothing I would recommend. Loved seeing those of you who attended the reunion. Wish there had been more from our class. Hope you are all doing well.
