Mary's Story
Hi everyone - you can call me a full fledged geek now - I sit in front of the computer most days and nights - IT is what I truly love to do.
I moved to VA in 2000 to be closer to my cousin Muirne'. She lives about 2 hours away now, but is a great influence in my life.
I am currently laid-off, but I am looking for a new job somewhere on the east coast.
Last year was truly "old home year" for me. People I had not spoken to in years came back into my life and for that I am ever thankful. They are helping me to get through some tough times and I will always be grateful.
I do coach soccer for the local YMCA and I am on the change committee for sports there as well.
I have a daughter who is just like I used to be except for the partying...lol. Not quite old enough for that yet, but I feel my time is c...Expand for more
oming. She plays soccer (guess that's how I got into coaching it) - She is now in middle school here in VA and is growing up way to fast. She is a wonderful artist and loves to play soccer as well. She plays at the middle school level for the Y and this season I will be her coach once again. She is an honor roll student and is finally finding herself.
I have been to middle GA this year to attend Linda Sams' (Wilkes now) youngest daughter's wedding. I will get to ATL sometime over the summer.
If you look me up on yahoo, you can find me under winntalker.
