Mary's Story
I ATTENDED METAMORA high school 46,47,&48 I moved to Woodville OH. and spent my Senior year there. At Metamora, I was in Band, Glee Club and Chorus. Music is still important in my life. I belonged to a clogging group for 7 years until my knees couldn't do it any more . I sang in church choir for many years and an am a substitute piano player for Sunday Worship. I acted in several amateur musicals at the Ritz theater in Ttffin Ohio.
I was married to Bob Kagy for 56 years. He passed away in Nov. 2010. I have two children, Mark is 53 and Lindsay is 50. I recently talked with 11 former class members of the 1949 graduating class. ...Expand for more
I am still trying to locate others. I really enjoyed talking with all of you. I now live in Bloomville Oh. in Seneca County near Tiffin.
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were partly righ; I taught Sunday School for about 35 years..
I do a lot of reading.and playing my piano to relax. I have an Electric piano that sounds like a number of differ instruments. I have written a number of songs . Some have words and some a just instrumentals. I have song several in church. and play some of them in the worship services.
