Mary's Story

If you're looking for the Mary Weber that graduated from Milpitas High in 1978, that is my older sister, Mary. I myself graduated in 1981. A bit of good news, I recently published my middle-school adventure novel online as an e-Book (paperback will come later), and am currently taking care of some last-minute items with the e-Book. The book has gone out to global distributors and booksellers which is thrilling. I've had several family members and friends read it and they really enjoyed the book, so hopefully pre-teen kids, in general, will enjoy it too. We'll see. My family is doing well, all in all. My younger siblings are all busy with their careers and raising kids. My niece Jessica and her husband are busy raising their young daughter and son, and Jessica is pursuing a doctorate in psychology. My niece Shayla is currently going to art school and creating some beautiful, interesting art pieces which are consistently selling, very thrilling.. My niece Jamie and her husband are working in the corporate world and doing well. My niece Kaitlyn is still composing music (she plays the guitar, piano and a few other instruments) and got her masters degree a few years ago. She is currently working in the climatology field. My niece Melissa is a traveling nurse and she and her husband are very busy raising their young daughter and son. My niece Jenna moved to Nashville a couple of years ago to pursue a singing career. She has a manager and has professionally recorded some tracks, so hopefully all will go well for her. My niece Julie and her husband moved back to New Mexico and are busy raising their three young children. My nephew Daniel has ...Expand for more
started a video business and he and his partner are starting to focus on corporate business. My nephew Kevin just got his undergrad degree and is starting an awesome business. Our youngest nephew Koen is doing well. He is 8 years old and is clearly expressing himself, his creativity, and his wonderful interpersonal skills. His older brother, Jonah, is 13 years old and is intensely interested in astronomy, chemistry, biology, and computers. He watches the Crash Course Astronomy, Chemistry, and Biology YouTube videos that are actually adult-level videos in a lot of ways, and comprehends and retains a lot of the information. He has also studied the periodic table and knows quite a bit about the elements so far. It's amazing to be an aunt of 18 nieces/nephews and a great aunt of 7 great nieces/nephews (so far). We are all so proud of all of the nieces and nephews and their children! It is wonderful to watch kids grow, learn, and pursue their passions. Well, I hope life is treating everyone well. Have a great rest of the year! P.S. The 40-year reunion in early August was fantastic!! A big thank you to Frances Cepeda-Beck, her husband Brad, Frances' sister Edie, and everyone on the reunion committee who worked so hard to plan and organize our wonderful reunion!! *You're only as limited as the thoughts you give credence to.* ©Mary T.
