Mary's Story
Although, I moved from Lake Hiawatha in April of 1971 and finished school in Park Ridge, my fondest memories of my youth are from Lake Hiawatha/Parsippany where I was raised. Many of you that remember me probably, as always in trouble and/or a party girl, would not even know me now. My life has taken a 360 degree turn. Don't get me wrong I still love to enjoy myself, but I enjoy myself now with the things I have been blessed with in life.
I have spent time in every state in the country and have lived in six of them, with the exception of Hawaii and Alaska. I have been to Mexico and Canada more times than I can count, and I have been to Europe four times. I have never been in trouble with the law (suprising huh!):) in fact, I work in the legal field. ill feel pretty good. Right now, I just finished my first year of earning my Masters in Criminal Justice, I go to school online and love it, in fact, I may go for my doctorate-imagine that, me a Dr. in something?
I have done some crazy things in life, but overall I have enjoyed life and still do. I have been married three times( 1 divorce, 1 widowed, and my now). I am married to my best friend, Joe (he's from Brooklyn) we just celebrated our 19th anniversity and everyday is like our first day together. We plan on buying land and opening an animal sanctuary when we retire, which is not for another 15 years at least. I have been told by many people that I should write a book about my life's journey and I have decided to do just that-for those of you that I know and may be in my book-don't worry I will use fictious names. So, there you have it for those that may be curious, my life in short. You'll have to read the book to find out the details. Thanks for reading my short story and if, you have time send me an email, I'd love to hear from you.
