MaryAnn's Story
Hello!
I'm am currently teaching full-time at the University of Texas at Dallas in the School of Arts & Humanities. My courses include Professional and Technical Communications, Asian Music, and World Music. In addition, my work involves research, which is currently related to my fieldwork in Asahikawa, Japan (my mother's hometown) documenting a series of summer festivals for future publication.
As for the non-academic part of my life, I was married on August 7 2004. My husband, Aaron Young, is an Electrica...Expand for more
l Engineer at Anritsu. He also loves music and plays both classical and blues guitar. We met in college when we both worked at the Student Union and still enjoy playing pool together to this day. Our most exciting news is the adoption of our son, Rai Yun-Taek Young, from Korea.
