Matthew's Story
Life
Well this is a little late but I thought that I had already put this out there in all the appropriate places. My wife Jen and I, after almost four years of marriage had our first child. His name is Noah Joseph Gurney. He was born on 3/10/05 so he is almost a year old. He is the coolest guy in the whole world, or at least our family. He has helped us see the love our Father has for His Son and it has magnified the sacrifice of giving your only son. We are so thankful for Noah and for who God is growing him to be. In March of 2007 we had our second little boy named Tucker Hardin Gurney. He is amazing and a great reminder of the goodness of God in our lives.

g as a youth minister over the last 8 years has really changed my life. I was the youth pastor at Christ Covenant Church in Raleigh, NC for a little over 3 years while I was in seminary. I have learned so much about God's plan for His world and His people while being here. I know that all things were created by Him for His glory and I seek to not only do that in my life but to lead students and young s to do that as well. Loving and enjoying God, nobody ever told me that in the first 18 years of my life. It has made all the difference in my life and work.
We moved to Winchester, KY in June of 2007 for me to become the Associate Pastor of Youth at Central Baptist Church.
