Matthew's Story
Life
After high school I moved out to Victoria for a year, and then to Calgary, working for Canadian Airlines. In 1988 I moved to Auckland, New Zealand, where I was born, and lived there until September 2004. I started my flying training in 1994 and have done various flying jobs in New Zealand, and ended up working for Air New Zealand, flying domestically, for several years. ved here several years ago for work, and our eldest son, Ethan. We have been commuting between HK and New Zealand for about 4 years now, and we were both happy to see the end of that 12 hour commute! My wife and I are both employed here in Hong Kong as airline pilots with Cathay Pacific, and enjoy living in Hong Kong. Our second son, Rory, was born in March 2006, and 2 boys is certainly making for a busy and enjoyable time in our lives.
