Matthias's Story
I was in Biwabik as an exchange student. After I went back home to Switzerland, I finished school (88). Then came 1/2 year with military service (obligatory here). In 90 I started to study computer engineering in Zurich, but failed at the intermediate test (2 years). Then I thought it's time for something completely different. So I took 1 year of another pre-school of arts in Basel. Then I got myself an apprenticeship to become graphic designer (4 years). Just before I finished that, I got to know my wife Conny. t child, Samuel, was born. Two years later, Melissa followed. I always wanted to have 4 kids, but after two, I needed a break. Then in 03, my wife and I thought that if we want to have more children, this would be the time. So, Benjamin came in Feb'04. I'm still working in the same company where I finished my apprenticeship. In winter 1998, I gave my life to Jesus. That was the best thing that could happen to me. So, I'm a Christ-follower now, play piano in our worship band in church and try to give my best as husband and father.
