Maureen's Story
When I left school I went to a number of schools and eventually got my Master Degree so that I could have a job I truly enjoyed ie counselling. I met my husband at work and together we raised one girl and three boys. Two of the boys who are now men live in B.C. one of which is married. Marion the oldest is married and living in Calgary which is perfect because we have a grandson who will be two in a few months. My youngest is at home but working full time. My husband David and I have done a great deal of travelling since our kids grew up. We continue to love travelling and are seeing parts of the world we always wanted to see. ...Expand for more
David is retired and I work so I am rather spoiled when it comes to cooking and cleaning. Life is great. By the way my last name is Mackrory without the capital "K" in the middle.
Since I wrote this I have five grandchildren one of which is on the way. I love to hear from old friends and keep in touch. I went on a school reunion on a cruise to Alaska which was so much fun. I have travelled more since this was written South America, And Europe which is my favorite. I will probably continue to travel until I can not put one foot in front of the other. I am planning to retire in 2015 but if will be hard because I do love my job.
