Maureen's Story
After HS, I went on to get an associate degree from Peace College in Raleigh and a bachelor of science in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management with a concentration in Natural Resources Management from NC State. I worked for several years as an Environmental Education Assistant for Mecklenburg County's Department of Natural Resources (in Charlotte, NC). In 2002 I moved back to WNC and got out of the Env. facturing plant based out of Finland. I love working for this company and enjoy having frequent direct contact with customers and international co-workers. I hope one day soon to visit Finland to see the beautiful country and check out the parent plant of our facility! :o)
Interesting fact: I now live next door to Ben and Stephanie (Murphy) Cathey and their 2 adorable boys, Mason and Carson. It's fun creating new relationships with old friends!
