Max's Story
Life
I taught broadcast news at the University of Kansas 35 years before retiring in 2019. Prior to that I taught 11 years at the University of Missouri. (See that Register-Mail and WGIL experience really paid off). In between I worked in TV news in Kansas City, St. Louis and Phoenix. Currently I work in TV sports production for CBS and ESPN for college football and basketball. ...Expand for more
I will be in my 12th year as an Official Scorer for Major League Baseball.. My biggest job now is being the College Coordinator in Dayton Moore's CYou in the Major Leagues Foundation's high mentoring and leadership program. I also play 2B, 3B and RF, (baseball not softball) in the Kansas City Men's Senior Baseball League and play in tournaments with an over-70 and over-75 team.
