Maxine's Story
Life
Hi friends and classmates,I am now living at the top of California in Crescent City. This is really God's country, we have the Redwood Forest in our backyard and the beach in our front. You couldn't ask for more (except less rain and more sun).
I have three children and four grandchildren, the newest is 15 months. I work for the food bank in Del Norte County. It is a faith based organ...Expand for more
ization and not only gives out food, but helps clothe and shelter the homeless and needy. My job here is to train CalWorks clients to prepare them to out into the work world.
I also volenteer for CASA, which is an organization that is the voice of the child in court. I about to do the training for the Adult Literacy Program and become a tutor again. This is something that I did in college.
