McCall's Story
I was a National Sales Rep/Account Manager for Citysearch.com - basically I made $$ selling on-line advertising. But hey, I really enjoyed it and at least I didn't have to waitress at IHOP, right? Then I got woo'ed by Travelzoo, to be the Business Development Manager for their newly launched LA Shows & Events division.
NOW, however, I am home all day, everyday. I have a serious and painful disease (Behcet's - google it) that is usually in remission, but April 2009-current day to wreak havoc on my body/life/family/finances, by flaring up and BADLY! So, it's Drs appointments and medications, symp...Expand for more
toms and side effects. It's no fun, is what it is.
I live in Los Angeles (Mid-Wilshire, for any locals) and pretend I am a rockstar from time to time.
Got hitched (to my best friend and Citysearch co-worker, Kyle) in 2004 and am done getting knocked up by him: 2 kids. One of each, both Geminis, born the last week of May. Our hyper, little lady, named Harper JoAnne Lawrence, will be 4 years old (going on 13) this May, the 29th, 2010. Mr. Marley Man, our mellow little fella, will turn 2 on the 21st. He is really starting to get into talking and trouble. Guess that happens at the same time, eh?
