Life
It doesn't seem like I've done much since high school and time certainly has flied since then!
Enrolled at JJC after graduating & started in their nursing program... only to find out that I don't do well with needles, blood, etc..... I started working part time for the Home Depot in 1996 and found that I love to be able to interact with people on the sales floor. I left there to work for Ameritech in Itasca for a year. The drive was long & horrible and sitting in a cubicle for 8 hours was not what I was looking for. So, back to Home Depot I went and have been back with them for almost 10 years now. My personal life is pretty fantastic. I've been with the same man since 1994 (Mike Dionne, graduated 1991 from Joliet West). We got married in Las Vegas on June 1, 2005 in the presence of our parents and my best friend Jenn Jones (1993 graduate). It was so much fun being in Vegas & having friends and family there to share our special day with us.
We don't have any kids yet but that will come to us once the time is right. In the meantime, we enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, watching the Cubs, doing home improvements, and all those fun adult responsibilities.
