Megan Russell:  

Megan is from Fairway, Kansas. Megan is married with Taylor Christian Russell. Megan's schools include St. Agnes Grade School, and St.Thomas Aquinas High School. Megan later attended University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine, UMKC Alum (B.A. in Psychology, Summa Cum Laude (with highest honors), Departmental Honors, Healthcare/Medical Research, as well as Behavioral Health Research, and the correlation between the attention to the patients' affect, while living with Cancer, and are clinicians treating these patients with a cooperative, and a more complimentary approach to treatment. Megan conducted research, in Leavenworth, KS, while participating in an independent study program, under the mentor ship, and guidance from, Dr. Marne Sherman, and Dr. David Barnum. Megan & her research partner, Claire Jones, co-created a code book for the above mentioned 2 year study. The research was presented in Austria, in 2010, and published in the Journal of Psycho-Oncology that same year. During her time interning at The Guidance Center, Megan was also involved in observing, and assisting with parent court assessments, & child/adolescent anonymous assessments/feedback discussions, both during, and after the assessments. Megan was a member, and involved in several organizations; Psi Chi National Honors Society for Psychology, UMKC Psychology Club, Phi Theta Kappa...in two separate chapters, UMKC Spanish Club, and Helper's Inc. Megan works(ed) at SAHM (stay at home mommy), The Katz Law Firm, The Guidance Center.
