Meghan's Story

Life Not married, no kids, how could I possibly be happy? Funny thing; I really am, but I still want those things very badly! The last year has been a whirlwind for me, and I have found myself again. If you read all the crap about my previous life, you will see that things have really changed. When I wrote my last profile, Albert was my boyfriend and I had no debt. Well, Albert's gone, and my debt is piling up, but I'm happier for it! The debt really doesn't make me happy, but the things I was able to obtain by adding to it are the best! I bought a house in Oct. 2007! I got a new car after 9 years last summer! My closet is bursting at the seams! But my favorite part of my new single life is my baby Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix, Zander!! He fills me with so much happiness and love, and the tradeoff of my past life is worth every little pile of poop I have to clean up after him!! School High school was NOT my favorite place to be as a teenager. I would rather be working than hanging out w/a bunch of people that I thought I didn't want to be around; little did I admit at the time. My friends were mostly out of school or from other schools. I made good grades and knew a lot of people, but I didn't make the most of my four years. I would love to go back and change it all. That's not something most people would say. I was stuck up, and I worried too much about what others thought of me. Hindsight is 20/20, and I wish that I could have been friends w/every single person that I was in contact with. I'm happy now, and I have lots of frien...Expand for more
ds, but I feel like I may have missed out on a four year memory that should have been the "greatest years of my life." College I did it! I graduated before I turned 30; I can hardly believe it myself. I started out at UTSA, but bounced back and forth to SAC. College was not my cup of tea, but I continued to seek a degree. At one point, I ended up at UNT in Denton, TX, but I hadn't made up my mind as to what degree I actually wanted. I met a wonderful man and found no other choice but to move back to San Antonio and complete what I started. I'm so glad I did. There is no worse feeling for me than when I used to tell people that I just didn't finish college. It's not for all of us, but I made it for me, and I don't even regret the enormous student loan that I will be paying off until I die!! Workplace Am I crazy for staying the real estate business with this so-called recession? In San Antonio, NO! Our market is still strong, and I am increasing my sales every year! I love the freedom this business gives me, besides the uncertainty of each coming paycheck. In June '08, I left Best Homes GMAC and joined a wonderful group at Weichert Realtors, Lisa Kaye & Associates! I already see lots of opportunity for me here, and I hope to continue to grow my business! Here's my plug: If you or someone you know is in the market for real estate, buying or selling, in San Antonio, Texas, or elsewhere, call me first. I can help anyone, anywhere with their real estate needs! Don't believe me, give me a try!! Look me up: MeghanConner dot com!!!
