School
My gosh! A school biography for me would be like writing a novel, so let's see how brief I can keep it.
First off, you'll notice that I've been to quite a few schools. Thank my parents for all of the moving around due to their jobs. Not totally appreciated by me during the growing up years, let alone high school years, but I got to make some great friends along the way. Only wish that some of us had kept in better touch. Perhaps this'll help!
So then, I'm gonna go straight to high school. First up was Middleton H.S. i...Expand for more
n Charleston, S.C. That was 6 wks (following 1 year at Drayton Hall M.S.). Then we moved to TX, where I went to Big Spring H.S. Loved it there, but that was only for 2 months while staying in a local hotel, as my family bought a house in the nearby town of Coahoma. So then, to Coahoma H.S. it was for almost a year, before it was time to move on to Richmond, Virginia, where we stayed (again) in a hotel & I went to Monacan H.S. - yup, you guessed it. Only 2 months there when my parents bought a house 1 mile (1 mile!!!) down the road, causing me to change to Midlothian H.S. That was in Dec. (I think) of my Sophomore year. Phew! Would you believe it if I told you that my mother got another job transfer the summer before my Senior year - to Ohio? Well, it's true. But this time my dad & bro stayed behind for the year so that I could finish up. (Smart move.) So many great memories of people met along the way. Please, if you're reading this & thinking "oh yeah - I remember her, she was cool, whatever happened to her?" it'd be great to hear from you.
