Melanie's Story
Life
There's nothing overly exciting happening in our household right now, we're just enjoying each other day by day. We've been married 7 years this September and our son turned three this November (2005). We live in Carlsbad, California and are hoping to re-enter the real estate market next year (we fell out of escrow a few years ago, long story) to buy our first place.
Both of us got new jobs this year: I'm with a local homebuilder in the Marketing department and Phil is with a major utilities company in their Planning department. We're both enjoying our first "real" jobs and hope we've fou...Expand for more

Our son is a true angel on earth! He's really one of the most beautiful people I know (inside and out) and I'm amazed by him all the time and feel so blessed to have him. He inherited his dad's sense of humor and my tendancy to be opinionated. He's changed our lives in so many ways and has made me want to be a better person.
We still keep in touch with many of the gang from TO and I really value those friendships. My mom still lives in TO so we're up there often and are always willing to toss back a few drinks somewhere and catch up (free babysitting is the BEST!).
