Melissa's Story
Life
Hello. I'm not sure how many of you remember me because I quit school at the beginning of our senior year. (I ended up getting my GED a month later). I am hoping to reconnect with some old high school classmates as I love to chat.
An update on my life: I moved to Maine in 1995 looking for a better way of life and to find my destiny. I decided that I wanted to go to college and ended up attending the University of Maine at Augusta. I received a BS in Mental Health/Human Services. I own a home, and live here with my partner of 7 years, Gary, and we have 3 birds. (our 4th, Mr. Peeps, flew out the door in 2007) What a sad day that was. I have been married twice in my life but never had any children. I don't plan to marry again. I have a good thing going, why ruin it. LOL The last 16 years have been full of ups and downs but I can say that I am pretty content with life now! I enjoy helping others and use my past experiences in life to do so.

to do with nature and alternative healing. I love kayaking (I own 2) and get to go hiking/camping a lot here in the Maine woods. I love the coast and Bar Harbor is one of my favorite spots. I took a windjammer cruise in July 2005 and received hands-on experience in raising and lowering the sails! I can't possibly put the last 15 years of my life on here so if you want to know what I have been up to, email me. I would love to chat with you and hear what you have been up to!
School
If I could relive my high school years, I would really consider it. This would give me a chance to actually finish school, do well and graduate with my class. I miss the fact that I did not graduate with my high school classmates and never got to enjoy that experience. I missed my senior prom but did get to go to the junior prom. These little things seem very trivial in the grand scheme of things however, I can not help but wonder how and if life would have been different if only I had the "regular" high school experience......
