Melissa's Story
I went to art school briefly, worked at College Hill Bookstore for 7+ years, during which time I married my high school sweetheart and had 3 lovely children. At some point, I stopped working outside the home to homeschool my kids. My two eldest eventually attended high school. My eldest daughter has deferred admission to RISD while she figures out how to pay for it. She wants to be a costume designer for films. My son works at a fast food place and plays guitar and writes music with his ban...Expand for more
d while figuring out where else life will take him. My youngest daughter is studying for her GED and writing and recording music on her own. She is also a classically trained dancer who has performed several times with The Providence Ballet Youth Company. She is a brilliant artist. I am an avid amateur photographer. My husband is a working musician and I am an at-home musician who should be working.
