Melissa's Story
After graduating in 1982, I went to Hobson State and earned my Associate Degree. It was while at Hobson that I met and married a man who gave me a beautiful daughter. After being married 19 years, I divorced and moved to Colorado.
When I first moved to Colorado, I worked as a bookkeeper for a machine shop. After being laid off due to a shortage of work, I worked for a temp agency for a short time, before going to work for my current employer.

riend convinced me to go back to college in 2007. In another year, I will have my bachelor's degree in accounting. Going back to college has been a very rewarding experience. Hopefully, once I receive my degree, I will be able to move up the corporate ladder. My dream is to become a financial analyst. I'm a number cruncher through and through.
Living in Colorado has been a wonderful experience. Every morning on my dirve to work, I have one of the best views of the Rocky Mountains. The mountains are breathtaking. Fortunately, I still love the snow unlike the natives.
