Melissa's Story
Life
Hi everyone!
Sam & I were married on December 1, 2001 and from the very start of our married life, God has carried us through and blessed us so much. On February 26, 2008 our daughter Rachel Grace was born. I am still a Certified Medical Assistant, but I am no longer at Pediatric and Adolescent Medical Center in Hackettstown. Hope all is well with everyone. Be Blessed
School
What can I say, school was o.k. for the most part, but I would never ever want to do it again! After graduating from High School, I went to work, but then my mom became very ill and was diagnosed with Polymyositis, I ended up staying home full time to take care of her;with no regrets. My mom and I had a great relationship, but staying home to be with my mom made our, mother/daughter relationship even stronger and I am very greatful for that. Shortly after my mom was diagnosed with polymyositis, my older brother, George was diagnosed with leukemia, while he was in the Navy. It end up that my brother needed a bone marrow transplant, he had the transplant...Expand for more
and it was a success, but a year later the cancer was back. My mother passed away in August of "93" from complications of the polymyositis and Oct. of "93" my brother passed away from complications of cancer. I can honestly say that I was truly blessed and thankful for the time that I did get to spend with my mother and brother. Last of all, but not least, I have to say;DON'T hold grudges and be unforgiving and DO cherish the time you have with your family and friends, because life is so unpredictable and there is no way of knowing how much time we will have with the people we care about.
College
I attended Berdan Institute in the year of "99"-"2000" and what I remember is all the studying that I did and all the breaking down that my car did! But the most important thing that I remember is the encouragement and support that my friend, Sam gave me, who happens to be my husband now, I could not have done it without him! He is a great blessing to me.
Workplace
I am working as a Teacher's Assistant at Grow With Us Child Care Center.
