Life
I've been married for 5 years to Bill Gipperich, a middle school science teacher in Cedar Rapids. We have one daughter, Emma, who is 3 years old. We live in Mount Vernon, IA, and like it very much. Workplace
I am currently a research scientist at the University of Iowa in immunology. I have both MD and PhD (immunology) degrees from Northwestern University. I'm hoping to apply for a position in industry or at a major university/medical school in the next couple of years.
