Melissa's Story
Life
My Spouse
I married a great man. We will celebrated our 10th anniversary in October 2007. It's funny because we grew up about 20 minutes from each other in New York but never met. We finally met when I moved to Massachusetts. He was in the Navy and was my next door neighbor. We met through my mother and a mutual friend who lived next door to us.
My Job
Up until May 2006 I was an elementary school teacher. I spent 4 years of my career teaching severly disabled students, then I taught 1st grade and last ...Expand for more
year (2005-2006) taught 2nd grade. In May 2006 I completed my Masters in Educational Administration and hope to be an assistant principal/principal when I decide to go back to work. Right now, I find myself semi-retired since having my daughter in September 2006.
My Children
In September 2006 I had my beautiful little girl Olivia. She's VERY independent and quite a handful. :) My husband and I have adopted a little girl, we named Danica, from Ethiopia. Over Christmas 2008 we went to Ethiopia to bring her home.
