Melissa's Story
Life
I was born in Allen Park and moved to Carleton when I was 4 in 1977 where I stayed thru highschool and where my parents still live. I became pregnant with my son as a Senior at MSU with my long time boyfriend but decided not to get married. My son Jace is now 7 and I've moved to Grosse Ile to be closer to the parentals. a few...I remember being paddled in 4th grade by Mr. Dew for calling a friend a worm - and had the dreaded CORDS on that day. That was a horror I'll never forget. I remember chasing 2 boys who shall remain nameless around the lower-L playground and kissing them with the help of other admirers...dreaming of the day I could get them in the spaceship at the back of the playground...to do what, I had no idea. And the skating parties....need I say more?
