Life
Hi everyone I often wonder how people are doing now and I hope everyone is doing well. I am married to a wonderful man Chris Hendricks, he is a paramedic with Gaston County, and assistant supervisor. We met while we were both on the job. Our family consists of three children my son Jordan is 14, my daughter Ashley is 13, and my daughter Jessie is now a rambunctious 4 yr. old. I am now at a career change in my life, funny at this age, huh? I started off in Emergency Medicine, hence the common bond I have with my spouse. My EMS education led me to an occupation in dialysis. As with any medical field you either love it or you hate it. I love it, it is amazing what God has given us the capability of doing. So, I have been working at Metrolina Kidney Center of Gastonia now for 8 years as a Hemodialysis Therapist on the nocturnal dialysis program we have. I really did not real...Expand for more
ize how many people were in kidney failure until I started this line of work. Well, I have moved on now, I started working in July of 2006 as an Opthalmic Assistant at Gaston Eye Associates in Gastonia, NC. I assist in eye procedures and surgeries in our surgical center as well as assist in giving eye exams and performing other diagnostic tests on patients. This is another area where I never realized how many people had cataracts until I started working with the eyes. Gaston Eye is a wonderful place to work and our doctors are great, I have been very blessed. Besides that my family and I attend a wonderful church in Crouse (in between Cherryville and Lincolnton, NC) Anthony Grove Baptist Church. If anyone is in the area and looking for a true Christ filled loving church, this is the place. Come on and you know that at least one person will already know you. God Bless
