Melissa's Story
Life
Well, there isn't much to say about what I have been up to. I went straight into college the fall after graduation. I went to UMKC for 1-1/2 years. I hated most every minute of it. I don't like feeling like I am a number. Since then I have not quit school, but I have been taking it very slow. I am still a sophomore which means I have been in college for 7 years! Way too long. But at least I have not quit. I did get married in October 99 to my brother's best friend. To this day I am still not sure how it all happened but I am very happy! I still hang out with Kathy Leeper(best friend). Currently I have changed jobs ...Expand for more
and since April of 2001 I am working for State Farm Insurance with Stacey Schell as the Agent. I also have my agent's license but don't want the responsibility of having my own business. Still no kids but still have my dog pepper.
As of November 2002, My husband and I sold our house on Arlington (down the street from Van Horn) and lived with my brother until our new house was completed and we moved in 2/14/2003. (Still in Independence).
I think that is pretty much it for now.
As of Feb 2004, I am single again. In Dec 2004, I purchased a house of my very own, all by myself and am currently living in Blue Springs Mo.
