Melva's Story
After attending 3 high schools, Cerritos (in Cerritos, CA), Kalani (in Honolulu, HI) and Richard Gahr (in Cerritos, CA) and finally graduating, we immediately moved back to Hawaii where mom started a ceramic tile distributorship. I worked for her right out of high school and went to a local business school. I moved to Washington state with a fellow student becasue for some reason she hated Hawaii and I was tired of being stuck on The Rock. hich I moved back to Hawaii for 2 years and then back to Washington again after 2 more years. I got my old job back and have been in Washington ever since. Got married to a fellow co-worker (Paul) and I'm still at the same company although we were sold and changed from Safeco Life Insurance to Symetra Financial. Of our 3 rug rats, one graduated from UW in 2005, one dropped out of HS (grrrrrrrr) and the last one is set to graduate in 2008 and will be going to a technical school in Sacramento CA.
