Melville Gene's Story
After graduating in 1955 I married, had 5 kids, worked at RCA, Westinghouse, owned my own bicycle shop in Bloomington and one Martinsville.
Eventually sold everything and moved to California, where I met and married my second wife, worked for the highway department, and then JC Penney's.
Moved back to Bloomington and worked for JC Penney's for 5 years as their Maintenance Supervisor. Had another daughter and helped raise my two stepdaughter...Expand for more

Moved back to California and bought my own janitorial business. Eventually sold that and retired for health reasons. After major surgery, I am currently in pretty good health.
We have 8 kids, lots of grandchildren and several great grandkids. After my wife retired, we moved to Arizona where our youngest lives with two of our grandchildren. Enjoying every day.
