Michael's Story

Life Hey everybody! what's up. it's great to be in contact with the clas of '88. Damn it's been 16 years since we graduated. I will be 34 on 11/20 of this year and as much as i would like to married and have children, I am neither. Dont get me wrong, I would like to be, but that is one part of my life I choose not to rush by no means. I hear too much about other friends that have gotten married and regreted it because they either rushed it or had a "i just wanted to do it" attitude and I am not on that level. After gratuating from BL I attended Virginia State University. Going to college as most of ya'll know was a memory that you would'nt trade for almost anything. I initially majored in Psychology and later changed to Administration of justice/Sociology & pre-law. I completed my classes in 12/93 and graduated in 5/94. teacher for a Urban program in brooklyn, ny. After a little over a year, I started to work in the foster care system with another agency as an independent living caseworker, which was a fruitful experience. I would reccommend anyone to work with children in the foster care system. After 6 years of service i resigned from the agency and i am seeking employment in possibly investigations, forensic's, or possibly an area of judicial affairs at a college. However, I am currently working for the Dept. of Juvenile Justice. I would be happy to hear form all of ya'll!! peace. School After gratuating from BL I attended Virginia State University.
