Michael's Story
Life
PRESENT MARITAL STATUS: Single. CHILDREN: Three (3) males; all adults; ages 32, 31, and 22; PETS: Dog, 3 cats, 3 cockateils, parrot, falcon, exotic birds (kept in an expansive aviary), ocelot, squirrels, crow, raccoon.
HOME: I reside within a resort community located on the Hood Canal in Washington State. My home consists of a comfortable chalet situated upon a wooded hill (mostly pine trees and Alder) overlooking enchanting Puget Sound inlet waters, with a visually-stunning backdrop provided by the majestic snowcapped Olympic Mountains - as close to heaven as a man can get! PROFESSIONAL STATUS: Currently semi-retired. Held long-term career positions in related disciplines of Biomedical Engineering Technology, Anesthesia Technology, and Clinical Engineering, prior to ultimately retiring as a Clinical Engineer and department director in 2001. Presently self-employed - by personal preference - and affiliated with Anesthesia Delivery Systems manufacturers, importers, exporters, distributors, and service groups. Aside from participating in aforementioned professional activities, I spend considerable time enjoying my generously-funded early-retirement (given rise via legal judgment/settlement of a 1993-99 protracted, ugly federal lawsuit which became successfully litigated in my favor - thank the Good Lord above!), and attendant severance package of the "Golden Parachute" variety! LOL!!! PERSONAL DATA: I enjoy travel, and do so quite extensively; I am a musician (harp, lead & backing vocals, contributing songwriter), playing in a classic rock/country/blues band, known as "Big Whiskey" (we also perform originals and released our first CD a few years ago), and we play mostly regional venues in western Washington....too much fun!!!); I also like to attend open-mic jam sessions and karaoke shows whenever I have occasion to do so. Sometimes I host karaoke shows for a friend whenever he takes a vacation, becomes ill, or involved in other commitments. I have recently become a published author (I guess those good grades in English composition and creative writing throughout high school and college really paid-off after all!), via literary contributions to a couple of recently released books - one by Noble House Publishers, and the other by Watermark Press. I've had the fortuitous opportunity of playing bit parts, ...Expand for more
as an extra, in a couple of movies ("The Face Of A Stranger", circa 1992, and "Past Midnight", circa 1993), back in the day when I had the pleasure of working as an on-call member of a technical crew involved in providing support to such projects as "Twin Peaks"; the aforementioned films; and a couple of others (including the final film appearance for the late River Phoenix); and through these situational experiences I was afforded the honor of meeting and working behind the scenes with such fine artists as Mr. Phoenix, along with Rutger Hauer, Gena Rowlands, Tyne Daly, Michael Ontkean, Sherilyn Fenn, and Kyle Mc Lachlan, among others. These associations inevitably led to my being invited to being cast as an extra in the previously mentioned film projects. That pretty much sums-up my "acting career" (lol), and "flirtations" with Hollywood, as it were!!! Other than what has already been stated, I enjoy the cinema, attending the occasional stage production and/or symphony, rock concerts (e.g. "Ozzfest", et. Al.), professional sports events, fine dining, maintaining an active and healthy sex life, winetasting, and dabbling in the culinary arts now and again! I've become taller than I was back in the T.O.H.S. days....I think that I stood only about 5' 5", or therabouts, at that time, and I'm apx. 5' 9" presently, and weigh-in at about 185 lbs. at this juncture. My hair-color remains auburn-reddish, and is of medium length, and I sport a moustache and short beard.

Among my favored male friends were Brad Beck, Rick Melsness, Wally Stoltz, Tom, Lee & Larry Beattie, Scott Berg, Chris Heacock, Gary Southard, Dale Poune, Bill Mc Combe, Dennis Early, Norm Finlay, Jim Rolfe, Steve Erickson, Jim Jordan, Mike Hitchcock, Tim Thurston, Andy Saggs, Scott von Beila, Ron LeBlanc, Gary Showengert (sp?), Keith Heinz, Dave Fontana, and Stuart Yeany. Among my favored female friends were Dee Mazziotti, Dana Stivers, Bonnie Beck, Sandy Heinz, Beth & Amy Glasmeier, Cathy Spicer, Peggy Fassnacht, and Stacy von Beila. I love you all, remember you fondly, and miss all of you, individually and collectively! I also miss being as young as we were in those golden, olden days!!!
