Michael's Story
Somehow, I ended up in New Orleans, LA. Maybe it was Mardi Gras; maybe it was the food; maybe it was the danger of living in a hurricane strike zone; maybe it was that prison sentence. Either way, I'm here.
I left Waubonsie with an eagerness to put to use all that I had learned and gained from that education. So I joined a circus. It wasn't too long after that they had to let me go - they said it was because I didn't have enough felony convictions on my record. The nerve!

I'd never get the number of felonies I'd need while living on a farm.
So I went to college. And what do you know? I graduated. With a degree in film no less!
In high school, I was that goofy dork that everyone liked to pick on and pick last for the teams. It's okay, I'm over it now. The therapy and the black tar heroin really helped - just tell me to which address I can send you the bill. For therapy, not the heroin!
Okay, so I've never been to prison and I've never used heroin, but I do live in New Orleans and I do have a degree in film. ;) If you remember me and want to say hey, give me a shout. Or, even if you don't remember me, I don't bite. At least not for free. :)
