Michael's Story
Born in Detroit, Michigan, and by the age of 5 years, lived in Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, and Wiesbaden, Germany. Dad was transferred back to the states, and mom and my siblings lived in Detroit for about a year, then to Chanute AFB, for about 4 years, 1 year in Ft. Worth, TX, then to Merced, where Dad would retire. Attended OLM school, graduated in '59, and attended Ryan Prep College, for 3 years.(I was not a good student, by any stretch, but I did learn valuable lessons. Married in '66, 5 children, and divorced in '86. Graduated from Heald School of Technogy, San Jose, 1999, I think, worked various sales jobs, and ended up being a Mobile Dog Groomer (Groomingdale's Mobile Pet Spa, best job I ever had). Moved to AZ. in 2015, joined a monastery in St. David, for 5 months or so (that is a story in itself) and settled in Southern AZ., for now. I had 16 grandchildren, 1 stillborn, and 2 grandsons, 1 at 5yrs.+, and 1 shortly after birth.

., I had 5 Husky, rescued dogs, all at one time, before I started grooming, Rode, with 3 friends from San Jose, to Cabo San Lucas, the first 775 miles or so, in just under 9 hours, and could not ride after sundown in the Baja, cuz we couldn't see the speed bumps, and some of those would kill you at speed! 3,000 miles, round trip, with 4 days in Cabo, a very memorable trip, Ed and I are still friends, though we haven't spoken since about 3013, when I reminded him that the ride was 10 years earlier..
I live in a 5th wheel, with my dog, Bandit, a black & white Husky/Shepherd mix, sold my Harley a few years ago, active in the parish I attend, as well with the local Cursillo group and my Cursillo brothers in San Jose, who I communicate with every Saturday morning, via Zoom, for 2 hours, as well as others in AZ. 2 & 4 times a month, and I study the Bible, read the Morning Office each day, and stay out of trouble, not always easy in a very, red-neck state. LOL
