Michael's Story

Life Quick update: Post graduation, attended the University of Alabama majoring in Data Processing (got my degree in 1983) and went to work in Huntsville for Sperry (Unisys). From there I got transferred to Montgomery and working out of there for about four years before moving to Dallas, TX in 1990. I returned to Montgomery in 1993 and remained there until I moved to Atlanta in late 1994 where I have been since. I have a great job, a wonderful wife and have been truly blessed. I have NO complaints :) School Regarding teachers who inspired me (given what you...Expand for more
had to work with, you were all FIRST class): Mrs. Mixon (for her spirituality and love for people) , Mrs. Kyser (for her example of grace, class and elegance); Mr. McCreary (for being a great role model and to some degree prophet :)); Ms. Johnson (for instilling in me great communications skills and a love of English (for which I still owe her a great debt of gratitude); Ms. McWilliams for being a wonderful mentor and example, and finally to my coaches (Covin, Williams, McKinnon and the late great Ed Johnson who taught me that there was no substitute for hard work.)
