Michael's Story
CCHS 65, US Navy Veteran Vietnam Combat Ops, WestPac '69, Gun Line/Interdiction GFS "Operation Sea Dragon" and US Navy Carrier Support during launch/recovery Ops on Yankee Station. Observed/learned 5" Naval Guns can and do blow BIG SMOKE RINGS! Assigned Russian Trawler 'duty' to jam/interfere w/their transmissions during Combat Air Ops. Piraz Station was interesting. Earned my 'Crow'(E-4 NCO/3rd Class Petty Officer) during this mission at sea off Nam. Wish they had credits for "mileage Plus" in those days.
