Michael's Story
A lot of water has gone under the bridge since high school. I've always been a sensitive introvert and didn't really enjoy school at all. with all the social clicks and such. I stayed on the fringes and just hung out with my few buddies. After high school, I began to mature. I trained to be a machinist, and after a few years decided to try college. I wound up moving to Chico and attended Chico State studying mechanical engineering. While in Chico, I married Diane and we had three children. last of which was 3M Company. In 1996, I transferred to their facility in Austin Texas, where I have been working in the Rapid Prototyping Center (3D Printing). I design and make physical models from CAD data using stereolithography. It's fun! (if I had known how to do this in high school, I would have gotten myself into a lot of trouble).
Also since high school, I became interested in more spiritual matters. In 1977 I joined the Bahai Faith and have been a devoted believer since. Life has been good! I'm on Facebook...fiend me.
