Odd jobs during high school and college. Joined the Navy in 1975 and served 22 years, After retiring I started a second career with the County of San Diego as a Social Worker, focusing on case management and job development.
Childhood Memory:
Attended Divinity Lutheran Church (lived 4 houses down on Barrington Blvd.) On a whim Larry M. and I climbed the recently completed 120 foot tall steeple. Unfortunately Mrs Schultz on the corner called the police; upon our descent a squad car was waiting. Luckily all we got was a tour of the Parma Hts Police Dept and a stern warning... until we got home!

Twilight
Now retired, but if the right p/t job pops up I just might take it. However, puttering around the house with a distant view of Tijuana, Mexico from the backyard is a mostly satisfying pastime, On a sad note we lost both of our wonderful Pugs and sweet cat Missy May in 2021.
On a sadder note: I lost my wife Josephine in February 2022.. She had been very sick for a number of years, but now no longer suffers! (John 3:16).
Cancer interrupted my plans to teach in Japan or Korea for a year, but hey - never say never! I've seen a lot of the world, but would love to see more..
13 year cancer survivor.👍
P.S.: Regarding my Uncle, Airman 2nd Class Fred Kendrick, U.S Air Force, of Pell City pictured in uniform (black and white photo). On October 7, 1952, their RB-29 "Sunbonnet King" was shot down by Soviet aircraft over the Sea of Japan. All eight crew-members perished. This was classified as a "Cold War" incident vice Korean War. Hmm..
