Michael's Story

proved to be the real part of my education. I did a year at Carleton University in Architecture but elected not to stay. I started my own design firm and for four years honed my skills in design, advertizing and marketing. In the late 70's and early eighties, I was doing full time fine art as well, working on a number of commissioned paintings for various patrons in Ottawa. I held two private exhibitions at the National Art Centre in 1982 and 1984.
In 1984, I cycled solo across Canada from Vancouver to Ottawa. That same year, I moved from the Ottawa area to Toronto and in November 1984, I married Beverley. We have lived in the GTA ever since.
