Michael's Story
After leaving Midland in 1985 I lived for a short time in Odessa and Dallas. My senior year I moved to Lubbock and attended Lubbock High School. My social life was totally connected to Lubbock Christian High School. After graduation I spent one year at Lubbock Christian University and one year at Harding University. ually sent to Walter Reed AMC for surgery on my left foot. I was medically separated from the military in 1991. I returned to Lubbock and married Tracy Farris in December of 1991. I returned to LCU and graduated in Decemeber of 1995 with my degree in education. I taught for a year and a half before going into retail management. I worked for Footaction USA, Old Navy and Starbucks. I returned to the classroom and taught for a few years when my youngest child of three entered kindergarten.
