Michael's Story
I enlisted in the Navy in 1978. I retired after 17 years of service in 1995. Since then my wife Odette and I have lived in Sweden, Singapore and now find ourselves in an apartment overlooking the sea on the island of Cyprus. If you look at it on a map we're just east of Lebanon.
My wife is from Queens and we both miss it but we're having such a great time living abroad that it will probably be quite a while before we come back. When we're in the US, Texas is hom...Expand for more
e and we enjoy the weather and long drives that the Lone Star state affords us. We've lived in California, Arizona, Texas, Virginia and Pennsylvania. We never let the grass grow under our feet.
My wife Odette is a 1988 graduate of Saint John's University and I finished my undergrad through Connecticut State University in 2006. I've started on my masters degree and I hope to end the suffering and complete it in the next 2 years. Hope to hear from many of you soon!
