Michael's Story
Life
I live, with my awesome wife Michelle, in the small but growing central coast community of Nipomo, CA... located between Santa Maria and Arroyo Grande. We live in a townhome with our 2 cats (Ruby and Toby) and one dog (Molly). Michelle taught in the Lucia Mar School District ('03/'04 - 6th grade at Harloe Elementary; '04/'05 & '05/'06 - 5th grade at Dana Elementary; 06/07 - 4th Grade at Dana Elementary). She just accepted a new position for the '07/'08 school year at St Patrick's school as the school-wide Technology Teacher... we're stoked about this! We attend Harvest Bible Fellowship in Arroyo Grande where I am the Youth Director. I am also the Sales & Marketing Manager for Malcolm DeMille, Inc. We make sculptures, trophies, money clips, and jewelry for the PGA, country clubs, and corporate America. I am on support staff for the Pismo Beach Chapter of Christian Surfing Federation, and currently judge surf contests for their Western Region Contest Circuit. I also judge many specialty events and pro-ams. I currently sit on the Board of Directors for the Nipomo Optimists Club. Michelle and I love camping, hiking, walking together with our dog along the many beaches near our home, and watching our guilty pleasure... American Idol. I know, we are super dorky.

lege that were groomsmen at my wedding (Feb 19, 2005) include... Travis Walsh, Josh Canter, Steve Elliot, and... although he did not attend Pepperdine, he did live in Malibu and were it not for Pepperdine I would have not met him and as such he would not have been such a huge part of my development as a Christian man and would not have been a groomsmen = Lance Sticksell (an NYU alum, but we won't hold that against him).
Workplace
Sales and Marketing Manager for Malcolm DeMille, Inc. We make sculptures, trophies, trophy trays, shadow boxes, plaques, money clips, divot tools, belt buckles, bag tags, luggage tags, and jewelry for: the PGA, Country Clubs and Golf Clubs around the world, charity golf events, corporate America, tennis events, and any other events, organizations, or companies who like higher end, hand sculpted items. I've come a long way since delivering papers, working at the Montrose Library, working a Billy's Ski & Surf, working at the Crescenta/Canada YMCA's Adventure Camp, working for Pepperdine's Alumni Information Management or Residential Life Office, working for American International Inspections, working for Christ Presbyterian Church in Huntington Beach, working for Wall Street Canyon Youth Ranch, running Audio Video Concepts, LLC, and finally, running my own fledgling companies.
