Michael's Story
Here's my story in a nutshell: I graduated from 8th grade at Holy Name and then moved on to Lee High school. I had a somewhat difficult transition to public high school. Participated in track and cross-country during fresh and soph years. I joined the Civil Air Patrol and glider club my junior year. Enrolled in the commercial art program at the then new Kent Skills Center my senior year. Moved to Chicago late summer '72.

omotion into Quality Assurance to participate in the supply chain management team for Philips. Left for a startup medical device firm in '96 where I implemented a dual ISO 9000 / CFR 21 compliant quality system. Left after 3 years of 60 hour work weeks and the startup's business plan failing with worthless stock options.
I am now in my "2nd" career working in the IT field for a university. My latest project was the implementation of an emergency notification system that will send voice, text and email messages to currently enrolled students and active employees in the event of an emergency or campus closing.
