Michael's Story
Life
After graduating from Glenn, I spent four terrific years at Dartmouth College and graduated as (surprise) a math major. Then I headed off to the world of finance. After a two year stint at Ma Aetna in Hartford, I headed west. After spending 3 years in the San Francisco area, I made my way south to Los Angeles and a small (at the time) company by the name of SunAmerica. Now after 10+ years, acquisitions and mergers as well as a relocation back east, I run a securities portfolio of over $10 Billion for what some consider the worlds largest insurance company (AIG).

e were ecstatic when Doreen Valentine and her husband, Christopher Hines, were able to make the trek to be there.
Sept. 11, 2001 is a day that will forever be etched in my mind. I was way too close to ground zero and lost a fishing buddy in the tragedy. I was so ecstatic to finally get home almost a week later. On 11/12 Kai and I welcomed our son Zachary to this world and hope he never has to witness what I did that day.
In 2002 we relocated to New Jersey as my company consolidated my department in Manhattan. We moved into our new home in August 2002 and finally it is starting to feel like one. We completed a couple of major projects both inside and out. And, on 7/9/2004, we welcomed Rachel Joy to our family.
