michael's Story
Retired from teaching and coaching 2 years ago. Now "working" for Memorial Hermann in Houston. Living in Katy Texas.
Had some interesting stops along the way, including at 2 points coaching at Turner/Carol in 1978-79, and 1987-88. Was the head baseball coach there in spring of 1988. Saw many a former Turner student while coaching at Our Lady of Victory from 1988-2001 before moving back to Texas to take a public teaching and coaching position. And was "retired" by budget cut in 2011. Even spent a year as a missionary-coach on the Navajo Indian Reservation at St. Michaels High School. So in Navajo, Ya Tae Ha (welcome) to all of you.

73, now retired, married with 3 girls, lives in Hampton Va., brother Mark class of 77 is a Priest living in Toronto.
Probably the most interesting coaching story invoving Turner/Carrol for me was in the spring of 88 put in the defensive game plan to beat then Nichols star Christian Laetner and saw the team win its first state championship in basketball the following Saturday. Only to have Head Coach Gil LaCata receive a letter in the mail that Monday letting us all go!! So before tryouts for baseball even started I new it was a one and done deal.
Hope to see many of you at our 50th down the road. Even Clint Miller, if we can find him!!
Best to everyone.
